


All members and friends are cordially invited to bring their antique and classic boats and automobiles to make this the largest and most spectacular display since the Museum began holding programs twice a year in the summer of 1996. Members are also asked to volunteer their services on the 8th by calling 518) 644-2968 and letting us know that you would like to help.
Speakers have been scheduled to give talks related to the history of watercraft, automobilia and local history.
Photographer Richard Dean, who has captured many memorable Lake George scenes for posterity, will lead off the series at 11 a.m.; Robert J. Ensign,Jr., master restorer of classic autos, will speak at 1 p.m.; and Charles (Chuck) Flinchbaugh, a member of Coopers Cave Auto Enthusiasts and owner of several antique and classic autos, will give his presentation at 3 p.m. The programs will be held inside the Museum headquarters.
Raffle tickets for two prizes may be purchased. They are a red 1983 Jaguar, Model XJS H.E. 2-dr., 12 cyl., and a matted and framed 26" x 33" print of noted artist Peter Ferber's "Autumn Fling," depicting a Hacker boat skimming Lake George waters below Shelving Rock.
